Important information for patients
Medicaid Appointments — Referral Required
Alabama Medicaid patients ages 20 and younger are required to have a referral from their pediatrician or primary care provider before their initial appointment. Referrals can be submitted by:

Certain Alabama Medicaid appointments for patients ages 20 and younger may require an in-person visit — please contact our office to confirm before booking telehealth. For all visits, please bring a valid photo ID and your insurance card(s).
Medication & Prescribing Disclaimer
MHMATTERS365 does not prescribe stimulant medications. We offer non-stimulant medication options when clinically appropriate. All treatment decisions are based on clinical judgment, patient safety, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Therapy and counseling services are also available through MHMATTERS365 for eligible patients. With the patient's or guardian's permission, we may also coordinate care with outside therapists, pediatricians, primary care providers, schools, and other members of the treatment team.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
