Our approach to ADHD medication

MHMATTERS365 does not prescribe stimulant medications. We offer non-stimulant medication options when clinically appropriate.

Therapy and counseling services are also available through MHMATTERS365 for eligible patients. With the patient's or guardian's permission, we may also coordinate care with outside therapists, pediatricians, primary care providers, schools, and other members of the treatment team.

Where we provide care

MHMATTERS365 provides in-person appointments at our Montgomery, Alabama clinic and telehealth psychiatric appointments for eligible patients located in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington.

Telehealth eligibility may depend on the patient's age, clinical needs, location at the time of the appointment, and insurance requirements. Certain Alabama Medicaid appointments for patients ages 20 and younger may require an in-person visit.

Do I need a referral for a psychiatric evaluation?

Most patients can contact MHMATTERS365 directly, although insurance and authorization requirements may vary.

At MHMATTERS365, Alabama Medicaid patients ages 20 and younger must have an EPSDT referral from their pediatrician or primary care provider. Referrals may be faxed to (334) 249-2791. Other patients may submit an inquiry through our New Patients page.

Can I receive psychiatric care online?

Yes. Telehealth psychiatric appointments are available to eligible patients in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, and Washington. Appointments are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. In-person appointments are also available at our Montgomery clinic.

Eligibility for telehealth depends on clinical appropriateness, age, location, and insurance requirements. Alabama Medicaid patients ages 20 and younger should contact our office to confirm whether their initial appointment must be completed in person.

What if I just need someone to talk to?
